We arrived in China on March 17th and met our little girl face to face on March 18th. We went to Xi'an (said she--en) to get her. She was brought to us at a local hotel. </div> <bR> <div> The process took us about 18 months from start to finish. Our agency did not give us any updates or provide us with any pictures that were sent from the orphanage. When we met Rachel, they gave me a photo album of all the pictures that they gave our agency. Also they told us that they did cateract eye surgery on Rachel in Feb 2005, another thing our agency failed to tell us. We were expecting that she would need surgery upon arrival in the USA. </div> <bR> <div> We did not travel with a group and loved the freedom of exploring China as a couple. If we'd ever go again, we would hire our own driver and translator and go more places and do more shopping. We really loved China.</div> <bR> <bR> <div> I love this verse: <FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#FF0000" FACE="Arial" ><I>"Do not be afraid, for I am with you; I will bring your children from the east and gather you from the west." Isaiah 43:5</I></FONT></div> <bR> <div> Begin praying for our children.
